Garden of the Gods
My last stop in the state of Colorado was Garden of the Gods near Colorado Springs, Colorado. The rock structures were great in the garden and the overall landscape was very beautiful. Its also free(I think, didn't see a ticket booth).

Pikes Peak
The first part of the Nexy Day's Journey brought me to Pike's Peak. The hike is 13 miles one-way and I didn't have 2 days to blow unfortunately so I had to settle for the drive. However, my car overheated because of the high grade and I had to walk the last bit to the top of the Peak. However, the view was great:

After Mount Elbert, I went to Rocky Mountains National Park . I went in by the way of Grand Lake and explore the segment of the park up to Estes Park, spending ample time both in the lower regions as well in the high Alpine Regions. The alpine regions were fantastic:

The third day of the road trip was the highlight of the trip as I claimed Colorado at the highest point in the rockies at Mount Elbert.

Panorama Point
The 2nd day of the trip saw me summit and claim Nebraska at Panorama Point. At 5429 Feet, it is a slight rise in the farmlands of western Nebraska on the Border with both Colorado and Wyoming.

Madison to Minneapolis Biking Trip
Finally did my first multi-day biking trip from Madison to Minneapolis, a total of almost 600 miles in 6 days averaging 97 miles a day. Biking along the trail and then along the MRT(Mississippi River Trail), which follows highway 61 to Minneapolis was quite an experience. Dehydration, heat exhaustion, soreness were all problems, but in the end, I was victorious!! My favorite shots where this picture of the city of St. Paul at Dusk:
