Spent two days fishing around the Wisconsin dells dam. The two days were a few days apart due to heavy rain. When I went the 2nd day, there was heavy flooding and only a small patch of land was available. Didn't catch any giants but still caught some really good fish.
Went to fish the Baraboo river again the last few days. This time I focused on Giese Park and downtown Baraboo itself. There were a lot of snags in the area unfortunately and I lost several weights/hooks in downtown Baraboo. Still had a good harvest of catfish and Drum though.
Yesterday, I decided to go to the wayside park near the Merrimac Ferry on the Lodi side of Lake Wisconsin. I had heard rumors of giant Buffalo fish there and wanted to catch one. I didn't get the monster Buffalo I was after but I did manage to get two pretty good fish and a bunch of smaller fish.
I went to Brodway Spillway three times about 3 weeks apart. I hooked a giant fish that broke my 30lb steel leader but I did manage to get several 6lb catfish and a nice bass over the days I was there.
Went to the Maunesha at Marshall again, but this time Riley-Depp park upstream. Used big Bluegill to fish for monsters and to see if there was a flathead catfish. Was a little disappointed because 5-6lb channels kept eating my live giils though. Didn't get any flatheads.
Went on a boat to Lake Ripley and fishing for a few hours there. I didn't have the deep divers of lures that my friends had so I didn't get any fish but then I went that night to Jefferson and caught a few good ones.
I decided to go try my luck at Marshall Millpond again and it did pay off, but only after dark. I had some hours to catch some bluegill for cut bait and live bait before dark and only bagged 3 or so plus a small bass and a small pike but after dark, 7 catfish struck in a fairly short time period.
Finally made my way to the official Lake of Wisconsin the last few days and they were great days. First day only caught a drum and a big Catfish but the second day was big bluegills, a big Catfish, a Crappie, and a huge drum. Another PB set!
Spent a day and a half in the Green Bay area fishing for giants on the fox. First day from the boat, 2nd day from shore. While the shore fishing didn't really come up with anything, I did catch a giant Drum that was my PB, which made the trip worthwhile.
Spent two days on the Baraboo River at Giese Park right outside of Baraboo. For the most park I caught dinks and some good eater size Catfish but on the 2nd night with some minnows, the big one came and was my biggest channel catfish ever.
