Campbell Hill and Hoosier Hill
On my Washington DC roadtrip, I started out by claiming two states at their high point, Indiana at Hoosier Hill and Ohio at Campbell Hill . Although not inspiring highpoint, the success of these two point marked the start of a good trip. Here are photos of me claiming my lands at the top.

Iowa Waterfalls Roundup
A few days ago, I took a road trip into Iowa and photographs three of its many waterfalls at Spook cave, Dunning Springs and at Siewer Springs State Park. It was sunnt so long-exposure was a bit tricky with the lighting but here are the results.

Beckman Mill Scenery
I went to Beckman Mill yesterday around sunset time it was great. The mill isn't open yet but the scenery around there is great. Here is a picture of the mill at dusk:

Buckhorn State Park
After two and a half years, I went to Buckhorn State Park to try to get time-lapses of the sky. Unfortunately at sunset, the sky had cleared out, so that failed. But I did managed to get decent photos of the pond and the lake:

Effigy Mounds and Pikes Peak State Park
I took the liberty of the springtime weather this week to drive to Effigy Mounds and Pikes Peak State Park. I went to Pike's Peak first to catch the sunrise and it was great. The best shot was of a photographer standing on the balcony looking at the sunrise: (...)
Yellow River State Forest
Took some time this monday to go across the Wisconsin-Iowa border and take a look at Yellow River State Forest. No leaves on the trees yet so the landscape wasn't all pretty but I did get some sunset shots.

Fonferek Glen County Park
Went to Fonferek Glen County Park on a cloudy day but there were lots of good photos to be taken. It is the height of the Spring Melt so the waterfall there is running at full force:

Gibraltar Rock
One of the best scenic viewspots in all fo Southern Wisconsin is Gibraltar Rock. Its 400ft cliffs provide a majestic view of the surrounding farmland and skies and gives great sunset as the opening faces to the west. Here is a photo of me practicing Karate at Sunset:
