5000 Photos
After almost 3 years, the 5000th free photo for this site has finally arrived with this sunset over Lake Mendota as the 5000th photo.
Hopefully the next 5,000 does not take as long!
Horicon National Wildlife Refuge
In hope of getting good wildlife shots, I went to Horicon National Wildlife Refuge . However, the birds that I was hoping to photograph were too fast for my auto-focus, so I had to settle for more stationary animals like this Dragonfly:

Kakabeka Falls and Pigeon River
The last day of my road trip I decided to go to Kakabeka Falls and Pigeon River Provincial Park. Both featured waterfalls but Pigeon River had some amazing views of Lake Superior as well.

Lake Nipigon
