Cuivre River and Route 66

Back in Missouri, which means more photos of state parks and natural areas around Missouri. The last 2 days, I visited Cuivre River State Park and Route 66 State Park. Route 66 is supposed to be a very historically significant route. Didn't really travel it but the park wasn't much. Most of the best scenery was right outside the park with pictures of the highway such as this:

Cuivre River was better as its about 10 times as big. There were nice shots around Lincoln lake.

Going to visit Babbler and the zoo before I leave and then hit 1 or 2 parks in Illinois heading back to Wisconsin. Can't wait for next week and my trip to the east and to the Adirondack mountain range in New York. Gonna be great!
