More Houston and San Jacinto Monument

Went to downtown Houston against and up to the 60th floor of the J.P. Morgan chase building for a free look for the observation deck.

The view was pretty good. Then went to the San Jacinto Monument  to see the memorial for the Texans that died fighting for Texas independence.

The 567 foot monument is pretty impressive.
