Mount Elbert

The third day of the road trip was the highlight of the trip as I claimed Colorado at the highest point in the rockies at Mount Elbert.

 

With this I have claimed all the Colorado Rockies, this state now belongs to me. The scenery at the top was really nice too, check out the album. This climb was a Class-1 climb but it took a lot longer than I thought. I'd suggest taking 1 day to acclimate at leadsville before climbing this.
