Rock Cut State Park

Went to Rock Cut State park, the largest state park in Northern Illinois yesterday to take photos and to hike. I was a bit disappointed because most of the park was closed for Deer Hunting through Sunday. Lake Olson was accessible but unfortunately Lake Pierce(the bigger of the two lakes) was not. The Highway that crosses the park basically separated the part of the park that was still open from the part that was closed off for dear hunting. 

Since most all the Autumn leaves had fallen by now, there weren't that many colors in the park. I managed a few good shots but I will have to come back either in the winter to photograph a snow-covered park or next spring.
