Spruce Knob
The next destination on the map for me was Spruce Knob, the higest point in West Virginia and the higest summit within the Allegheny Mountains and Monogahela National Forest. This summit had quite a few more scenic views than the last two.
The peak is surrounded by other hills. I don't consider them real mountains, they are still a bit too low to be real mountains.
Spruce Knob lake is also pretty scenic:
There were lots fo fisherman here. Its a stocked lake. The forest is certainly a place you want to visit if you have the time.
